DINNER PRE-ORDERING BACK ON!

Dinner pre-ordering is now working again!
However, after trying it myself, I realised that it might have caused some confusion. Therefore, here’s a clarifying recap for everyone’s benefit, starting from saying that Registrations and Pre-ordering are two separate (albeit related) processes.
REGISTRATIONS
There are two types of registrations available.
· Registering for the conference is required and, if you have not done so already, you can register HERE (or from the REGISTER page on the website). To answer a few queries received in the past few days: the conference is NOT full – in fact, we have not placed a cap. If the registration page seems to get stuck, we suggest emptying your basket, refreshing the page and starting over.
· Registering for the dinner is optional, meaning that we’ll be happy to see as many of you enjoying this traditional appointment at Browns Brasseries, but if you do not wish to attend, you do not have to. That said, you can register HERE (or, again, from the REGISTER page on the website).
Note: registrations (and related payments) are managed by the Finance Team at Oxford Brookes university. In short, you pay to us in advance, including the dinner fee if you choose to attend it. Our Admin Team will then pay the restaurant’s bill, the caterer’s bill, the keynotes, and all other expenses.
PRE-ORDER (conference dinner menu)
This is to let the restaurant know in advance what you prefer to eat from the options available in the set menu. This way, the restaurant can assess quantities, make sure that everyone gets what they wish and that service is efficient. And, of course, it also allows us to cross-check with the restaurant that all diners have in fact registered and paid. Moreover, this will allow you to inform the restaurant of any dietary requirements you might have (e.g. allergies, intolerances and similar). Note: unfortunately, we cannot accommodate requests for Kosher or Halal.

However, this booking page is managed by Browns Brasserie directly and is based on a template they use for all similar group bookings. So, to avoid any confusion or concern, let me start by reassuring everyone that you will NOT be charged again when pre-ordering. Then follow these simple steps:
1. Choose one option each from Starters, Mains and Desserts. You can order for more than one person too: if so, remember to tick the box on the top right. My suggestion would be for everyone to submit their choices though.
2. You will see that your choices will populate the “Your Order” panel on the right. It will also show the matching price; do not worry about that.
3. Above the panel, you will see the “Add Dietary Requirements” button. If you have any, click on it, and add your requirements from the list that pops up; if not listed, add details in the Notes field. Confirm by closing the Dietary requirements window.
4. Click “Place Order”.
5. Now, one last step: a new screen opens with a summary of your order. Below that, add your full name and email address, and then click “Confirm order”.
6. You will then see an order confirmation screen and you should also receive a confirmation email.
